Mukti (mooktee) founder of Mukti Botanicals was once told that in order to find your passion and discover what you really want to do in life, you have to go after what you dislike.
Mukti Botanicals was birthed in 2000 primarily due to sheer frustration. Mukti was desperately searching for a range of personal care products that she could use on her client base. Her criteria was so strict and her desire so profound she decided to create her own range. After ten years of research and study including: cosmetic chemistry, aromatherapy, herbalism and organics, she formulated a range of clean, green certified organic products.
“We are passionate about organics and living a healthy long life. Not only are organic products backed by powerful science, they produce results. An organic lifestyle applies to what we eat as well as what we put on our faces and bodies on a daily basis. It is now an environmental responsibility to buy certified organic produce and products. Organic produce is grown by farmers who place emphasis on the conservation of soil and water and are protectors of preserving this precious planet for future generations”, says Mukti.
To this day Mukti Botanicals is a family owned business that offers a range of personalised products and services for the end consumer as well as spa and practitioner only products. We were accredited in 2006 as a premium certified organic range and in the same year took out our first export award. We are not part of an international conglomeration. We are 100% Australian owned and our products are manufactured as well as marketed by the same company. The current directors are Mukti and Evan, her partner in life and business. As we continue to grow, we are committed to becoming 100% green and carbon neutral.
Mukti’s extensive experience and qualifications in the natural therapy and beauty industries as well as training accreditation ensures ongoing support and education. In her spare time Mukti is also a mother. Mukti is available for public speaking events and engagements.
